What an exciting year this is, the 3rd and final year of the 3 Year Journey of Impact! It feels like yesterday I announced this God-sized, God-given vision to see 3 million dollars given over 3 years that would impact lives in 3 countries. I remember praying fervently in the very beginning that God would carry us and here we are, over two-thirds completed, and He is with us. We are blessed to be on target at $2.417,591.05 million given or committed. Can you believe we are 81% to our goal?
As we go into this year, I feel strongly burdened to ensure the locally led programs we have started are effective and sustainable. To do this, it is critical that we continue to increase our monthly financial and operational capacity in those communities. We are excited to focus the entire month of May on doing just that! For this year’s 10-year anniversary, we will highlight 10 core programs across the 3 countries where we are active. We will be offering opportunities for people to partner and fuel life change through these 10 programs. This is not about numbers, countries, etc. It is about people. Every person and every story is connected to every act of generosity that you make.

I want to personally invite you to consider what steps you can take this Spring to increase what God is doing through Second Chance Global. Could you say yes to monthly giving to ensure our young adults have access to trade courses or that mothers have access to the care their babies need? Are you already giving monthly and could consider an increase by $10 or $30 each month to support more sustainable change? Do you know someone that you could invite to match what you are doing on a monthly basis?
What could your simple yes look like today? Together, we are writing another chapter in the miracle of what God is doing around the world.
