Two Sewing Machines for Youth — House of Hope Haiti
$400.00
Description
Practical skills for a hopeful future
Preparing young people for life beyond House of Hope begins long before they leave our care. We want them to grow in confidence, responsibility, and the skills they need to live independently.
What your $400 gift provides
Your one-time $400 gift purchases two sewing machines for children and young people living at House of Hope in Haiti. The machines support hands-on life skills training and help equip youth with a dignified way to earn income after graduating from our home.
Learning to build an independent life
Sewing is part of House of Hope’s wider approach to preparing young people for adulthood. Practical job skills sit alongside education, mentorship, financial literacy, everyday responsibilities, and spiritual care.
With opportunities to practice and develop useful skills, young people can take steps toward self-sufficiency while remaining supported by a community that knows and cares for them.
Your gift provides two tools for learning today and building a future beyond our home.
